Gun Cleaning Day at the Range
We will have a “gun cleaning day” at the range the 2nd Sunday of each month. Prices are as follows:
- $5 per gun if you clean it yourself (we supply the cleaning supplies and can provide instruction if needed).
- $10 per gun if we clean it for you.
- If you bring your own supplies and clean your own gun you can just come enjoy the company at no charge!
3-Gun Practice Days

We now offer 3-Gun practice days on Sundays (if there is no competition that day). We will set up a stage in the competition bay and shooters will be able to practice their 3-gun skills. The charge will be per stage run-through. No reservations required. If you need to borrow gear, please contact us in advance to make arrangements. You must provide factory new ammo for use of our staff’s equipment.
American Marksman
Sandhill Shooting Sports is thrilled to announce that we have been named as an official local qualifying range for American Marksman, a new nationwide target shooting competition for amateurs being produced by the Outdoor Sportsman Group, owners of the Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel television networks.
The local qualifying level is the first step in a three-tiered national tour where amateur shooters will attempt to advance to one of nine regional championships and, ultimately, a national championship where the winner will take home $50,000! Along the way, cameras will be rolling to capture footage to produce a television show about the competition and competitors as they attempt to advance.
The local qualifying level is made up of a fun course of fire consisting of .22 caliber rim fire guns and ammo. And the best part is, it’s only $20 to try and qualify! For more information or to get registered, please visit www.AmMarksman.com.
