Drill Sergeant Academy BUIS Grouping, Zero, Confirmation, & Holds
This class is designed for the US Army Drill Sergeant Academy attendees to help with BUIS grouping, zero, confirmation, & holds qualification. There will be approximately 1 hour in the classroom & 2 hours on the range with a retired US Army Special Forces Weapons Sergeant and trained sniper. Rifle rental, targets, and 60 rounds of ammo included.
Individual Instruction
Individual instruction is available by appointment only from certified instructors. If you are looking for a class to get your South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit, you MUST register for one of our CWP classes. If you’re looking for BUIS Instruction, choose the BUIS class listed above. Our instructors can assist you with basic or advanced pistol skills, shotgun, and rifle – including instruction for law enforcement officers or military personnel who are having difficulty qualifying or want to improve their current skills. Private instruction is $100 for your initial 2-hour block. Targets, ammo, and any necessary equipment rental are separate (firearm, hearing/eye protection, etc.). Book your individual instruction session using the button below. First-time students will be booked for 2 hours. After the first 2-hour instruction, you can book in 1-hour slots (you must request the 1-hour booking link from your instructor). Gun Cleaning
Receive individualized instruction on how to take your gun apart for cleaning & how to properly clean it on a user-serviceable level. (We will not be taking your firearm farther apart than what is recommended in your user manual.) Please be sure to bring your user manual to this appointment. Bring your cleaning supplies if you have them. If not, you can purchase supplies from us. Prefer to just have us clean your firearm for you? We can do that as well. Just drop it off during our regular business hours & our staff will clean it for you & contact you when it’s ready in a day or two!
The Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program
The purpose of the Eddie Eagle Program isn’t to teach whether guns are good or bad, but rather to promote the protection and safety of children. The program makes no value judgments about firearms, and no firearms are ever used in the program. Like swimming pools, electrical outlets, matchbooks and household poison, they’re treated simply as a fact of everyday life. With firearms found in about half of all American households, it’s a stance that makes sense.
Eddie Eagle is never shown touching a firearm, and he does not promote firearm ownership or use. The program prohibits the use of Eddie Eagle mascots anywhere that guns are present. The Eddie Eagle Program has no agenda other than accident prevention – ensuring that children stay safe should they encounter a gun. The program never mentions the NRA. Nor does it encourage children to buy guns or to become NRA members.
