Thank you for booking your appointment to get your Form 1 or Form 4 paperwork/fingerprints started for your tax stamp. Things to remember:
- If you are filing using a Trust, ALL TRUSTEES have to have fingerprints, photo, & complete a Responsible Persons Questionnaire for EVERY stamp application.
- Be sure to bring your government issued photo ID and proof of SC residency (your SC DL/ID OR military orders with an additional item issued by a government entity that shows your SC address – i.e. vehicle registration).
- We file for you electronically. You have the option of paying the tax stamp with your own credit card (if purchasing/transferring a full-auto) during the Form 4 filing process here at our location, or you can lump the cost of the tax stamp in with everything else and pay all at once.
- Electronic fingerprints & .EFT file creation is $45 if we are not filing the form for you.
- If you are going to have the items on an existing gun trust, bring the trust paperwork with you to your appointment (or EVEN BETTER email the PDF to us at NFA@SandhillShootingSports.com PRIOR to your appointment). If we have filed for you with this trust before, you can skip this step.
- Have your current, valid government issued photo ID with you that has your legal name, CURRENT address, and date of birth.
- Have your eForms user name and PIN available for your Form 4 appointment. Have your eForms user name and PASSWORD for your Form 1 appointment. You will be required to confirm the electronic Form 4 submission using your PIN & we have to completely log into your eForms account for a Form 1 submission. If you have not created your eForms account yet, please read the information at this link for how to do that.
- Form 1 appointments:
- Bring the item you are converting/making with you
- Have the barrel length (in inches)
- Have the overall length of the item after it’s made (in inches)
- Fees are due at the time of service. We do not accept checks for NFA related payments. Cash or card only.
- NFA Transfers – $100 per serial number
- NFA Transfers for Members – $60
- Electronic fingerprints & .EFT file creation (per person if we are not filing your form) – $45
- Tax Stamp – Zero dollars for suppressors, short barrel shotguns/rifles, AOWs. $200 for full-auto. (Pay using your own credit card during the ATF submission process.)
- NFA Gun Trust – $59
- Form 1 filing – $50
