Have you taken your CWP class but not turned in your application yet? READ THIS!!!
SLED has released new guidance on how they will be processing CWP applications before & after August 15th. If you were required to take the full class (not prior military, etc.) you MUST get your application in before August 15, 2021 or you will have to have an updated proof of training form. This also means that you will be required to pay the $50 fee to SLED. If you were exempt from the firearms proficiency portion of the CWP class, you will not be required to provide an updated proof of training form.
