Come join us on Saturday, October 2, 2021 for our 6th Anniversary & Customer Appreciation. We will have give-aways throughout the day, free hamburgers/hot dogs at lunch time (while they last) and we will have a Revolutionary War 3 pounder cannon on display and firing, by the 5th Company, 4th SC Regiment, Artillery, of the SC Battleground Preservation Trust. Patrons will have an opportunity to raffle for firing the cannon, every half hour, from 12 – 2 pm.
All monies raised for the cannon firing go directly to the South Carolina Battleground Preservation Trust. (Since the Province of Carolina was chartered in 1663, hundreds of battles representing nearly every regional and national conflict have been fought on South Carolina soil.) The Demonstration Team’s purpose is to educate, demonstrate, and entertain to bring our fight for liberty to life! Cannons Support the SCBPT by being part of public and private functions, historical events, and commemorations.
We really hoped we would be able to have Bay 1 open and usable by October 2nd, but that’s not looking likely by then.
